About me

I’m Nitharsan Aloysius, though most people know me as Nithan, a photographer with an international perspective shaped by my experiences in Sri Lanka, Germany, and now based in Paris.

My work blends artistic storytelling with a research-driven eye. With an academic background in biodiversity and ecotourism and published research on bird diversity, I bring a unique sensitivity to detail, the environment, and human connection into my photography.

I specialize in capturing authentic moments across a variety of styles, including professional events such as UNESCO programs organized by Rotary, street photography, portraiture, and nature and wildlife photography.
From documenting dynamic public spaces to observing the quiet beauty of the natural world, my approach focuses on natural expression, context, and narrative.

Through my lens, I aim to tell meaningful stories that connect people, places, purpose, and the environment.
